How AKPsi Helped Me Connect

One of the best feelings is walking into a room and seeing familiar faces. It’s an even better feeling to walk into an interview and have an automatic connection with the hiring manager. This past semester, I handed my resume to a recruiter who then stated, “oh, I’m an AKPsi too!

From this point forward, I had an automatic connection with the main contact of the organization. Between interviews, we discussed Convention, PBLI, and our chapters. When I had specific questions about the company, she was more than happy to help another brother where needed.

Over the past 4 years, I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with alumni as interviewers, employers, and friends. I’ve met alumni from other chapters including Clemson, University of North Carolina at Greensboro, University of Wisconsin at Madison, Drexel, and Marist College.
